Casify explains
Which screen protector: case friendly, full cover or privacy?
Compare three types of protective glass and balance coverage, compatibility and privacy.
Protective glass looks simple, but edge coverage and finish make a real difference. The best choice depends on your case, routine and preferred visibility.
Case friendly
This glass leaves a small edge around the display, making it easy to combine with almost any case. It is the safest choice when compatibility comes first.
Full cover
Full-cover glass protects more of the front and creates a neat visual finish. Make sure the case does not push up the outer edge.
Privacy
Privacy glass limits side viewing. The display may look slightly darker, so you might use a higher brightness setting.
Installation kit or manual fitting
An alignment frame reduces the chance of dust and bubbles. Work in a clean room and do not rush the installation.
Frequently asked questions
Does privacy glass affect Face ID?
Correctly fitted quality glass should not block Face ID; keep sensors and cut-outs clean.
Can I reposition the glass?
Sometimes shortly after fitting, but repeated lifting increases dust and weakens adhesion.
